2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by TransIP B.V. (transip.nl), Netherlands. When you access the site, technical data is automatically recorded in so-called server log files, transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser and operating system used. This data is used to operate the website securely and reliably and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in technically error-free operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with our host.

3. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary (functional) cookies. In particular, the multilingual tool Polylang stores your language choice in a cookie so the site is shown in your preferred language. No tracking or analysis of your behaviour takes place. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Fonts

We serve our fonts (Nunito, DM Sans) locally from our own server. When the fonts load, no connection is made to Google or third-party servers, and no data is transmitted to third parties.

5. External links and services

Our website contains links to external services, including Instagram (Meta) and beta distribution via Apple TestFlight. Data is only transmitted to these providers once you click the links. Their respective privacy policies apply to that processing, over which we have no influence.

6. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, content of your message) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required for the purpose.

7. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing. To exercise these rights, simply contact hello@studio-brainfog.com.

8. Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Germany this is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (ldi.nrw.de).

This privacy policy is currently valid. As the website develops or legal requirements change, it may need to be updated.
